Here’s a look at the week ahead on our “PD-OPs” calendar.
This course is an introduction to computer science using the programming language Scratch, developed by MIT.
Learn how you can create interactive experiences for your students by unlocking or creating layers of digital information on top of the physical world that can be viewed through an Android or iOS device. This session includes ideas for using AR in all subject areas.
Have you ever had an idea for improving education? All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and embark on a three-day frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. Sponsored by Google for Entrepreneurs.
This completely online event takes place twice per year and features some of the world’s best innovators and arts-focused educators presenting on integrating the arts into STEM creating STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Find more events on our PD-OPs page.
